As always in a school there are movements from year to year as staff make the decision to move on to other things.

In 2022 all of our Lower School teachers will be remaining and therefore they will follow the loop with their classes.

Claire Folster who has been teaching Class 7 this year will teach Class 1 in 2022. Ashley Gibbs will be team teaching with Claire in Class 1 in her role as Class 1 Transition Teacher with specialist knowledge and experience in this area.

Purdy Biddle will teach the 2022 Class 2.

Ruzia Ataria will teach the 2022 Class 3.

Tanya Zanetti will teach the 2022 Class 4.

Louise Galpin will teach the 2022 Class 5.

Geoff Heath will teach the 2022 Class 6.

Tegan Anderson will teach the 2022 Class 7. Irene Cheung will be team-teaching with Tegan in Class 7, again in the role of a transition teacher with specialist knowledge and experience at this level.

In the Kindergarten we will farewell Julia Sheriff who has resigned in order to take a year out in Australia with family and also Eileen Watson one of our long-serving Kindergarten Assistants.

In the Upper School, Bill Scott has resigned and will be exploring opportunities outside of teaching.  Chris van Der Zee who has been teaching part time in our Upper school over the last couple of years has gained a full time position teaching at another school for 2022.

We do recognise and thank all the staff mentioned above for the contributions they have made to Raphael House. We will farewell them all at the end of the year and share and celebrate the contributions they have made to the school in a Bush Telegraph before the end of the year.  We would also like to update you that Upper School Science Teacher, Sarah Daly has reverted to her maiden name of Sarah McKenzie.   Sarah's email address is now sarah.m@raphaelhouse.school.nz
