Kia ora I’m Claire the Class 7 kaiako.

I grew up in Palmerston North and when I was young I was involved with Girl Guiding, St John Youth, and performed in a lot of musicals. 

I moved to Wellington to study Classical Studies and Art History at Victoria, followed up by a Masters of Primary Teaching. After I finished this I jetted off to Japan to teach English in two high schools; spending a lot of time travelling the country and learning a bit of Japanese while I was there. 

Currently, outside of teaching, I am a Girl Guide Leader and any other spare time I have I craft. I can sew, knit, crochet, and do pottery so I feel like I fit in pretty well at this school!
