NZCSE Update Term 4

Amelia Minogue —

As we approach the end of NZCSE assessments in the Upper School for the year, it is remarkable to witness the quality and workmanship in the portfolio work being produced by students across Class 10, 11 and 12. Students are also celebrating their academic successes as they complete their Level 1, 2 or 3 NZCSE Certificates.

One of the advantages of NZCSE is that it is largely internally assessed, with only Level 3 students sitting external exams, the last of which was on Monday 15th November. It has been interesting to see an increase in students sitting Sciences exams this year, some of whom are heading off to Otago University next year to study in this area.

NZCSE Certificates and Records of Achievement will be posted out by SEDT (The Steiner Education Development Trust) shortly before Christmas. These are important qualification documents that will be required for entry into tertiary education, so please ensure that they are kept in a safe place with other important documents such as birth certificates and passports. SEDT charge an admin fee for reprinting lost certificates. If you have changed address recently, please let Marcelly in the office know your new address so that certificates arrive promptly.
