The Class 12 Project presentations were held at Town Hall last Saturday, where the Class 12 rangatahi shared their individual project journeys with the Steiner whānau.

The audience was also able to view the magnificent displays that showcased the creative variety of topics.

A special shout-out goes to the Class 10 Tech Team (Dakotah, Maya, Sarah, Emily and Alex), who managed the lights, projector, and sound. It was their first run of this particular event and they did a wonderful job.

The Class 12’s found this to be an overall rewarding and satisfying experience. They thoroughly enjoyed watching each other speak and felt wholly supported by the audience, whose love and encouragement gave them the confidence to stand proud on stage.

They were especially grateful for the care and kindness offered by their kaiarataki, Megan and Merlin, who made this experience possible. They would also like to thank Tim, who provided a calm and positive presence backstage.

Thank you to everyone who attended this milestone event and for making it truly special for the Class 12 students.

On reflection a week later, the Class 12’s would like to misquote Master Shifu from Kung-Fu Panda: “[We] have finally found inner peace”.
