Words of Farewell from Sarah
Kia ora
I have taught here at the school for 6 years now and have been involved in the community since my 18-year-olds were at kindergarten.
I have loved being part of this school and have very mixed feelings as I write this today. This year I have taught every student from class 5 to class 12.
I have enjoyed working with all of the young people in my classes and have delighted in seeing their joy and enthusiasm.
I’m excited to begin researching my Doctorate thesis next year on the topic of student wellbeing in a Steiner School setting and hope my research will allow me to continue the close ties I have made here at the school and in the community.
Thank you all for the love and support I’ve felt over these last 6 years and for the privilege of helping your young person in their learning journey.
I wish you and your whānau a wonderful summer and 2023.
Ngā mihi nui
Sarah
