NZ Certificate of Steiner Education

Clare Goodman —

NZCSE enrolments have been completed and you should have received confirmation via email of your young person’s enrolment in Level 1, 2 or 3.

Class 10, 11 and 12 students are well underway with their learning and have already completed some of their NZCSE assessments. Students should have all received their copy of the NZCSE Student Handbook 2021, which contains lots of useful information about the qualification, upcoming assessments and what to do in the event that an extension is required for an assessment.

As an Accredited Provider of the certificate, we are bound by the rules which state that all students must meet the assessment deadlines specified in the Handbook. Extensions must be applied for a minimum of 3 days before the assessment date, and in the case of illness, a medical certificate must be provided. Students will need to fill in the Extension Form (there is one in the Handbook or we can give students a hard copy) and return it to the NZCSE Coordinator, Amelia Minogue, along with a medical certificate from a medical professional (this could be a doctor/physiotherapist/osteopath, depending on the illness/injury). This rule is in place to ensure fairness and equity in the way we offer extensions.

If you have questions regarding NZCSE, please contact Amelia Minogue, the NZCSE Coordinator by email amelia.m@raphaelhouse.school.nz or 5695161 extension 216.

Ngā mihi,

Amelia Minogue
