Passengers wanted!

The Lower Hutt afternoon bus service commenced on Monday and will be operating throughout Term 2 as a pilot service.  The driver has been very impressed with the behavior of the passengers during transit and is very much enjoying getting to know our students.  

At present, the bus is about half full each day.  If you expressed an interest in this service last term, we really encourage you to use the bus.  Many families rely on this bus route and it can only continue in the future if passenger numbers increase and the service proves to be financially viable.  

The driver will automatically stop at all stops to allow passengers to disembark.  If you would like to have an additional stop added to the route along the way, please let Katie Musk know as, in the interests of child safety, the driver will not stop at undesignated stops.

Tickets can be purchased via KINDO.  Single and 10-trip passes are also available from the Office (cash payments).
