US Hauora, Careers, Humanities and Class 7 Literacy

Kia ora koutou,

My name is Rose and after just a few weeks as a new member of the Raphael House whānau, I feel immensely privileged to be working alongside such caring, curious and creative rangatahi.

Although I'm new to Steiner/Waldorf education, I have mostly worked in alternative education and I’m finding the Steiner approach aligns with the beliefs about learning and development that I already hold.

I'm passionate about supporting young people with their journey into adulthood and all the highs and lows along the way. I’m particularly excited about my careers role and work in the hauora space at Raphael House.

In my spare time you’ll find me reading a book, hanging out with my nieces, walking my puppy, or going for a hike. I look forward to getting to know you all over the course of the year.
