We have been notified of two forms of industrial action.

Next week over three afternoons our primary teachers will be attending Paid Union meetings. We have organised for them to attend different ones and will be covering internally so that students can remain at school. They may have a different teacher for one afternoon next week.

We have also been notified from PPTA (the secondary teachers union) that all secondary teachers who are union members will strike for the day on March 16 as a response to the stalled negotiations for the renewal of their collective contract. Should this strike go ahead we will need to close the Upper School (Classes 8-12 only) for this day as the vast majority of our secondary teachers are PPTA members.
