We have recently revised and simplified the school's Dress Code guidelines.

The following guidelines will be conveyed to our tamariki and rangatahi using age appropriate language and context.  We also appreciate parent and caregiver support.   

Guidelines

Appropriate for the community and different learning environments.

Kindergarten and Lower School clothing should not have any large images and slogans.  

From Class 8 upwards, any slogans and images that are worn are respectful of the Special Character of our school, inclusive, and appropriate to all ages.

Indicators

Express yourself as long as you’re:• able to move freely• able to learn without being distracted or distracting others• sun smart• demonstrating situation safety appropriate attire and accessories.  e.g. sturdy footwear (closed toe shoes) to be worn at all times. 

Follow up

A representative of the school (e.g. teacher, kaiarataki, student leaders) will have a restorative conversation with any student in breach of the guidelines
