This week we reignited an interschool hockey match, first launched by Ken Isaac 17 years ago, against Taikura Rudolf Steiner School, Hastings.

What a great day with Class 12 and whaanau in support, the match, fish and chips by the river but most importantly a hard fought match played in the spirit of how we view competition at Raph House: Namely by competing against the strength of another we find the strength in ourselves. This was a battle of champions with Taikura winning the Lower North Island Secondary Boys Tournament last year and Raphael House winning the North Island Mixed Tourny last year. For the record Taikura won the match 3:2 and now hold the Parsival Plate until next year.
