Lower Hutt Primary School Sports Association hosted an athletics day on Tuesday, 5 November at the Hutt Recreation Ground. This was an event against other primary schools in the Lower Hutt region.

We had athletes from Classes 4, (Faith, Zoe) and Class 5 (Ayden, Blaze, Emily, Finley, Hugo, Kyla, Mabel, Madeline S, Matous, Olivia, Zac) participating in high jump, long jump, vortex, quoit, sprints, distance and relay.  The competition was quite tough as there were some very experienced athletes competing from other schools. 

Faith came 2nd in the 800m sprint, 150m and 3rd in long jump, vortex with Matous coming 1st in the 800m. Having achieved these results allows them to enter into the InterZone event in mid-November.
