Today all the Lower School classes received a bag of bulbs to plant over the next week in our school gardens. Nina worked with a group of Class 1 akonga to prepare the soil for planting. This is part of the preparations underway for our Easter Festival on Thursday.

This week Karen Gault, our Te Reo Kaiako has been focusing on the creation myth of Ranginui and Papatuanuku purakau where Tane Mahuta separates his parents, against the wishes of some.

After much discussion, timetable organisation and advocacy from many of our Upper School students, our very first Upper School Kapahaka session was launched this week.

There is a large amount of lost property building up in the Office. Please do check in should your child be missing something. We will display items outside the Office after school next week. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity at the end of term.

The PTFA will be running an ice cream stall at the foot of the zigzag path when school closes for Easter at lunchtime next Thursday April 1st.
