One of our fabulous ex-pupils has created her own show which she is performing at Bats in April! Let"s head along and show our community support!

Kia ora e te iwi!

My name is Acacia O’Connor, I’m an actor, writer and director alumni from Raphael House 2013.

Many of you will remember my beautiful mother Amanda O’Connor from those times.

I’ve been developing a one-woman show over the years about our musical, alternative life, her death and all the ways that affected me.

I’m taking my newest and most vulnerable version to Wellington for the first time since 2017 this

April 1-5 at

Bats Theatre, 1 Kent Terrace

The show won the He Mahi Kakano award at the Auckland Fringe last year and I’m really excited to take it home!

For more information and to book, check out the Bats website xx

I’m also super excited to run a workshop with the students at Raphael House!

I run heaps of classes with Auckland Theatre Company, TAPAC and Te Pou Theatre up here and am so keen to play at the old kura!

See you sooooon,

Acacia
