Introducing Sarah

Upper School Handwork

Kia ora koutou, ko Sarah toku ingoa. I have been teaching Upper School Handwork for 15 years, apart from last year when I had a year off.

Prior to teaching I owned a clothing design company which was set up whilst living in Philadelphia USA, but once my daughter started school at Te Ra on the Kapiti Coast the Waldorf education became a drive and passion for a new career in teaching.

I only work 3 days a week this year and the other days continue with my private tuition of students.

When not teaching I am usually sewing, weaving, pattern making, gardening, house renovating or helping my daughter with competing on her horses.

I also have a strong love for walking our amazing Great Walks in New Zealand!
