Introducing Katie R

Kia ora koutou,

I am thrilled to be starting my third year of teaching at Raphael House. Before coming to New Zealand, I taught at intermediate schools for 16 years in the United States. I am currently one of the Class 8 Kaiarataki teachers and teach mostly English and Social Sciences in the Upper School. I have three children (two attend school at Raphael House in Class 2 and Class 4) and live in Porirua. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy bush walks, reading, gardening, and yoga. I also adore ancient-looking trees, the smell of babies' heads, and dancing at weddings.
