Introducing Laura

Tēnā koutou Raphael House whānau. 

Ko Laura Lopez taku ingoa. 

I am a Kindergarten teacher in the Pohutukawa room.

I have worked at the school in different learning support roles at the Kindergarten for over seven years. After completing my PostGradDip in ECE and my Waldorf ECE Diploma in 2020, I took on a teaching position. 

I am also a mum to two amazing young people in Class 8 and 5.

In a previous life I was a Social Worker but it was through my children that I discovered a passion for Early Childhood and have fallen in love ever since. 

I love crafting, going for long walks in the bush, learning about other cultures and speaking other languages. 

I speak Spanish, Italian and English and I am learning Te Reo Māori.

I love working at the Kindergarten!
