One of our Year 2 students has described the Red Zone below.

Red Zone

The red zone is when you feel like you want to push someone. This is what you should do: colouring, drawing or breathing. Take a break. Sometimes it is hard to calm down. You can sometimes get really angry but don’t worry, you won’t get in the red zone that often. It’s normal to be in the red zone. It does not feel good if you are in the red zone.
