On Saturday 10th of August, Daniel W was awarded Player of the Year for Belfast Juniors, and the Chairperson’s award for Outstanding Contribution for Under 6-Under 10 year olds.

In order to get the chairman's award I had to come to every game whether it was rain or shine. I also had to play hard.

My favourite part of this years rugby season was playing on defence because I think I'm pretty good at tackling.

When I heard that I was nominated for the U6-U10s Chairman's award I was VERY surprised.

I was even more surprised when the Belfast Rugby Football Club community announced that I was the Chairman’s award For 2019.
