Structured Literacy Support

Shireen joined the Redwood team in 2019 teaching a newly created class of 5 year olds. She has a Diploma of Teaching and a Bachelor of Education. Shireen has taught in schools in North Canterbury and Christchurch city. Most of her teaching career has been spent teaching year 0 – 3, predominantly new entrants. Shireen enjoys giving each 5 year old a positive and successful start to school life.

When she is not at school you will find Shireen spending time with her husband and 3 children Ruby, Holly and James. She also enjoys mountain biking, reading, drawing and spending time in the garden.
