Medication at school
If your child needs to take medication while at school, it must be held in the office sick bay. Asthma inhalers, paracetamol, creams, etc must not be kept in school bags or classrooms
This ensures all staff know where to find a child's medication if needed in an emergency, and stops misuse.
Please ensure you sign a permission form for the staff to administer any medication. (See below)
At the beginning of each year we require a new permission form to be signed for medication we have stored onsite. (See below)
Expiry dates will be checked periodically during the school year and a request will be emailed to parents/caregivers when a replacement is needed.
