Pauline Prescott —

Is your child shy? Do they feel intimidated by the idea of public speaking and performance? Do they sometimes find it difficult to make eye contact? Do they just need 45 minutes a week to take part in organised craziness?! It’s not too late to join Marrzipan! We are looking for some awesome students to fill some parts in our play, which we will be performing for parents and their peers at the end of term. Come along to a Trial Lesson and see whether you like it! You can sign up for one directly via our website www.marrzipandrama.co.nz (we have contact numbers on there too, should you prefer to talk to a human!)

We warmly want to invite you to our next International & Youth Market, happening on the 21st of April 2018 at the Haswell Community Centre. The market will provide an opportunity for organizations who work with youth to exhibit and share with them about the opportunities they provide and will be a chance for aspiring entrepreneurs among youth to have a stall at the market. Furthermore, we are currently looking for young people who want to participate by helping us to promote and run the International Market event.

Triple Threat Academy NZ is returning to Christchurch following overwhelming response from their previous workshops in 2017. Founded in 2016 by one of NZ’s leading Musical Theatre practitioners, Nick Purdie (http://www.triplethreatacademynz.co.nz/our-tutors), TTANZ has been developed to provide intensive three day musical theatre workshops for young performers.

With the help of other leading industry professionals from around the country the young performers talents and skills will be challenged, nurtured and built upon and they will also be encouraged to unlock and discover even more along the way.

The next Christchurch Workshop will be Wednesday 18th to Friday 20th April, Showbiz Christchurch, St Asaph Street

The workshops are suitable for all ages from 7-18.
