Lilly and I made a soft toy as part of our Reading group activity. We have been learning about things that we are interested in.

We read a book called Soft Toys, and we then had to follow the instructions to make one.

It was fun because we like making and creating and it was like playing but we were learning at the same time.

The hardest part was sewing it because you had to sew in a straight line and sometimes it was hard to push the needle through the fabric. It was also a bit boring waiting for the hot glue gun to warm up!

The best bit was stuffing it! We had to sew it and turn it right-side out. Then we got to put the soft stuffing in, it was fluffy like a cloud. It was fun pushing the stuffing into all the gaps. It was also fun decorating our toys!

We can’t wait to do it again.
