Redwood Primary School Health Consultation 2024-2025

Emma Norrish, Board of Trustees, Allyce Muir, Lead Health Teacher —

We’re inviting whānau and community members to give feedback on: (1) our draft health education delivery statement, and (2) the overview of our health education programme. This is part of our community consultation process for health education, a requirement we must complete every two years.

Feedback from the consultation process will be used to either:- endorse our planned programme, or- refine our health education programme, where recommendations lie within education policy expectations.

Your feedback is anonymous, and important to us. The information you need to answer the survey is provided. The survey asks you to rate your level of agreement with the document and/or provide comment.

After reading the consultation documents the survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes.

Please follow this link to read the our Draft Statement. A paper copy is available from the office

Please follow this link to access the survey. A google account is required so that we can ensure once response per parent. Email addresses will not be collected by this survey. If you would rather complete a paper survey, please reach out to Allyce.

Any questions can be directed to Allyce Muir at allycemuir@redwoodprimary.school.nz

Thank you for your contribution in helping us design and plan our health education programme.

In addition to this, we are hosting a parent information evening to further unpack  the Navigating the Journey programme which is taught in the Paerangi Team (Year 5&6) on Wednesday 8th November at 6.30pm in the Paerangi learning space.

The Draft Health Statement will also be discussed at this time. We encourage you to attend this if you are interested in learning more.

Many thanks,

Emma Norrish: Board of Trustees,

Allyce Muir: Lead Teacher Health
