Tumuaki | Principal

John arrived as Principal in 2006 previously having led the Primary School at Middleton Grange. He has taught at a variety of schools in Canterbury and a year overseas. He has a Bachelor of Arts (History) and Master of Education through the University of Canterbury. He is a fourth generation Cantabrian.

John is married to Belinda and has two adult age children James and Demelza. John enjoys making things out of wood, creating gardens, exploring new places and military research and writing. He also enjoys helping kids and seeing them succeed.
