Dear Marrzipan Schools, We are sad to announce the farewell of our Marrzipan Extraordinaire, Stef - who is off to her homeland, the UK come Term Two. She may have informed some of you in passing already herself, though I thought I'd tale the opportunity to provide you ample notice and let you know we're well and truly on the hunt for a worthy replacement for Term Two.  From meeting Stef (and some, Jack), and from witnessing our end of term shows and having staff and parents (students too of course) speak of us around the water cooler, you know us and what we do. You might therefore know what it takes to BE a Marrzipan Teacher.
If you know of someone who may be well suited, have them click the link below for more on the role itself, what we're after, AND info on how to submit an application:
https://www.marrzipandrama.co.nz/about
Start Date: End March / Early April.Otherwise, we'll look to have Term Two roll on as usual, in true Marrzipan style.

School Holiday Programme - St Lukes Church Hall, Daniels Road.  23-27 April (not Anzac Day) 9am to 12 noon.  $3/day + cost of movies.  Contact Margaret Moore on 352 5153 to register.

Each year Jennian Homes works alongside the Heart Foundation to hold an amazing Mother’s Day 5km Fun Run/Walk held in Hagley Park and in the Rangiora Showgrounds to bring awareness to heart disease in women – especially mothers. Heart disease is the biggest killer of New Zealand women, claiming the lives of over 3000 ladies every year. We are asking women to band together to love their hearts.

The Fun Runs are wonderful family friendly ‘can do’ events and we encourage people of all ages and abilities to have a go. Each participant receives a collector t-shirt designed by Dick Frizzell and all proceeds go directly to the Heart Foundation.
