The parent teacher association was established to enable teachers to get on with their job and teach whilst it gave parents an opportunity to participate in creating a community that teachers simply didn't have time to do.

PTA —

In the function of creating community, the drive of fundraising can sometimes over take or appear to be the main function of this group. Can I reassure you we do more.

In our meeting times we hear from the Board and what is on the agenda for them. We hear from our teacher representative what is happening in the school community. Then we have the opportunity to act and respond to meet the needs whether it is social or financial. It really is a unique opportunity as a group. We have created a night to inform you of all our ins and outs of the PTA. The current team has enjoyed their time of volunteering but sadly as the years go by a few members will be moving on. Come along and meet the current team and ask all those curious questions. On the 26th of September in the School Staff Room at 7pm we will provide the nibbles and drinks so feel free to come along and say hello.
