Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition

Rodney Laredo —

For the second year in a row, Nathan Wordsworth, a 'Rodney Writing' student, has been recognised in the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition. This year's subject being 'A Connected Commonwealth'

His submission last year awarded him a Silver award.  This year, out of 26,300 submissions from students throughout the Commonwealth, Nathan has received from London a Certificate of Participation.

It is remarkable that a student has received a certificate for his contribution two years in a row.

The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition was set up by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in Christchurch during her visit with Prince Charles, now King, in 2016.
