In Room 7 and 8 we have been learning to write interesting stories using lots of describing words.

Sarah Burt & Rachael Brokenshire —

We wrote some stories about the hail storm last term.

  • The hail comes from the sky. It sounded like someone was putting sprinkles on my roof. It woke me up in the middle of the night. It was noisy. I was so tired. Madison
  • The hail comes from the north pole and the hail looks likes bouncing jelly and it was like sprinkles bouncing on the roof. When I woke up it was cold and wet and it was freezing at home.  Liam
  • Boom crash! I woke up and in the morning there was hail. It looked like popcorn hoping on the grass. I do not like hail. There was hail at night time as well.  Zara
  • Hail is really hard. It comes down fast. Also it's small. It goes BOOM when it hits the ground. When it hits you it really hurts.  Levi
  • Hail, Hail, Hail. Hail is fun to look at. It is basically snow. It is fluffy like snow. It is bad because it wakes me up.  Nathan
  • Last night I went outside at 3am in the morning and I built a snowman with the hail. It was so, so, so, so much fun.   Lucy
  • Hail, Hail, Hail. The hail made holes in my umbrella. Hail hurts when it hits your head.  Jimmy
  • Hail is white and it is wet. It comes from very high. It's rain first and then it frosts up.  Harry
