Little Red Robin Hood

Rachael Brokenshire —

Last week Whakatipu had a great time watching a play called Little Red Robin Hood, put on by NZ Playhouse.

The king wanted to build a wall around the forest to keep the wild animals out of the village and started taxing the villagers 101%, but Little Red Robin Hood wasn't having any of that! She stole the tax money from the tax collectors, then beat the King in an archery contest. With the help of her good friend the Wolf, she convinced the King that just because you don't know someone, doesn't mean they are mean or bad.

All the tamariki loved getting involved with the story and laughing at all the funny jokes. The actor/actresses were great at using funny voices, dancing, singing and fast costume changes, which made for a great afternoon! We look forward to future performances.
