This year we will take part in this awesome fundraising event for a very worthy cause, the Heart Foundation.
During the month of June, or earlier, our tamariki will be learning to skip and extending their skipping skills. We will practise during our sports and fitness times, in the playground at lunchtime, and perhaps at home. To celebrate the skills our tamariki have learnt, we will hold a Jumping June afternoon, planned to be on Tuesday 30th June which is in week 11 of this term.
The Heart Foundation will provide skipping ropes for our school but we need to start some fundraising first. Once some donations are made, the skipping ropes will be sent to us so that your tamariki can start learning to skip at school.
Donations go directly to the Heart Foundation.
