Every three years State and State Integrated school communities elect their parent and staff trustees to help govern their schools. Right now Boards around the country are preparing to hold their 2019 triennial School Board of Trustee elections.


Key event dates are as follows:

  • Close Main Roll - Wednesday, 8 May 2019 - noon
  • Call for Nominations by Friday, 10 May 2019
  • Close Supplementary Roll - Wednesday, 22 May 2019 - noon
  • Nominations Close - Friday, 24 May 2019 - noon
  • Voting Papers Sent by - Wednesday, 29 May 2019
  • Election Day - Friday 7 June 2019 - noon
  • Count Votes - Thursday, 13 June 2019
  • Board Takes Office - Friday, 14 June 2019

Current Board members are more than happy to meet with you to discuss the role of the Board and what is involved in being a parent representative on the Board.
