Tui & Kea hub

In week 6 Tui and Kea hub had a focus on cyber safety. We had Constable Debbie come in and talk to us about how to stay safe online. As a part of shared reading we looked at poems and texts that gave us tips on how to be safe online as well.

Students then created tip sheets to share with our parents and with team Paerangi at our assembly on Friday.

Some key tips were:

· Never share personal information online such as phone numbers and addresses.

· Never give out your password to anyone.

· Be careful about what images you put online.

· Only talk online with people you know.
