During the last week of Term 2 Team Whakatipu travelled by bus to the Art Gallery and Museum.

 We were able to briefly explore the Art Gallery before heading to the classroom to create an A3 artwork, including a self portrait.  We then walked down to the Museum and completed a scavenger hunt.  Many children also enjoyed exploring the Sun exhibition which was very interactive.

On Friday we ventured back on the bus and travelled to the School of Gymnastics. This was a fabulous opportunity for our tamariki to continue to develop and perfect their gymnastics skills that we had been working on during the term at school.
