QEII Drive piling and wall reconstruction update

The deconstruction of the wall panels and abutments is going well and is ahead of schedule - the night work for this is finished and the piling is being set up.

All going well, the piling will take six to eight weeks. This work will be noisy, so thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding, we really do appreciate it.

Following the piling, we will reconstruct the ramps and walls and then place the bridge beams early next year.

For more information on this reconstruction see our newsletter.

QEII Drive west - line marking change

On Sunday night we will be changing the line markings on QEII Drive near the Main North Road intersection. This will allow us to move the traffic over and continue our work.

Please take care in this area as drivers get used to the new layout.

Transport projects aim to ease impact of extra traffic

Just a reminder to get your feedback to the council on their plans for Cranford Street and the surrounding suburbs by 19 August.
