Our playground is Redwood Park. We designed this playground because we read a book about children helping to design the Margaret Mahy Playground.

First we wrote survey questions then asked them to the class. They chose what they liked and did not like. After that we drew a picture plan showing what our playground would look like. Our playground had a huge slide and a roller coaster. It also had some monkey bars, a merry-go-round, and four swings. We included a flying fox, a portaloo and a seesaw.  We had a carpark around the back. 

To make our playground we used rods, click sticks, mobilo, popsicle sticks and grass for the base. 

We had heaps of fun making it, it was great working together and sharing our ideas with the class.
