Dear Parents / Caregivers

On the first Tuesday after the holidays (3rd May), Redwood Primary School will be running our annual cross country event at Murchison Park.

Currently, New Zealand remains at the Red level under the Covid Protection Framework, although this may change between now and the day of the event.

We will update you closer to the time around considerations for spectating and parents gathering on the school grounds for this event.

Nevertheless, we will require support from a number of adults to stand at strategic points throughout the course and ensure the children’s safety.

With the holidays approaching there are plenty of opportunities for the students to put on their running shoes and to walk or run to improve their performance. I will be sending further information of times of events for the Cross Country next week. I have my fingers crossed for a sunny day on the 3rd May and that we can have an event where all students at different levels are supporting each other.
