On Monday afternoon we were lucky to have NZ author Juliette MacIver visit Redwood School. She was here from Wellington to present to Whakatipu.

We have a collection of her books in the library.

She was fun and vibrant – singing, dancing and playing the ukulele. 

 She showed us how she writes, read two of her stories (Marmaduke Duck on the Wide Blue Seas & That’s Not a Hippopotamus) and got the children doing action dances. 

It was a most enjoyable performance.
