At Redwood School we use SchoolDocs to maintain, update and review our policies

Emma Norrish —

SchoolDocs provides us with a comprehensive core set of policies, which have been well researched and follow the Ministry of Education National Administration Guidelines.

The policies and procedures are tailored to Redwood, and we supply specific information such as our charter, and procedures for behaviour management, reporting to parents, etc.

SchoolDocs updates, modifies, or creates policies in response to changes in legislation or Ministry guidelines, significant events, reviews/requests from schools, and regular reviewing from the SchoolDocs team. Our board of trustees has the opportunity to view changes/additions and comment on them before they are implemented.

Our Redwood whānau play an important part in this review process, and each term we will ask you to give us feedback on certain policies. We as a board value your feedback, and ask that you take a few minutes to follow the instructions below and let us know your thoughts.

This term we are asking our school community to review the following policies:

  • Legislation and Administration Policy

  • Student Attendance

  • Enrolment

  • Privacy

  • Official Information Requests

  • Uniform / Dress Code
