I would like to thank all families who attended our Open Night.

On Saturday 10th of August, Daniel W was awarded Player of the Year for Belfast Juniors, and the Chairperson’s award for Outstanding Contribution for Under 6-Under 10 year olds.

A very warm welcome to our new tamariki who have started school this term. A big welcome also to Mrs McCashin and Miss G who are teaching in Room 6 until Week 6 of this term.

Our newest tamariki are learning the letter C and made some delicious cupcakes.

The All Black loss over the weekend highlighted to me the critical element of team. The Wallabies were a better team and it really showed through. The All Blacks had strong individuals on the day, but as a team did not gel.

The Redwood children voted for “Puffin the Architect” as their favourite book.
