The purpose of this article is to give you some important updates around next year, including our teaching staff and room locations. 2025 will see a number of changes.

Firstly, we have aligned our teams and year levels to reflect the Curriculum Refresh. The new curriculum is arranged into two phases, Phase One - New Entrant to Year Three and Phase Two - Year Four to Six.

Kate Norman will lead the Phase One Team and Allyce Muir will lead the Phase Two Team going forward.

Secondly, we are excited to announce the appointment of Mrs Christy Bealing, Miss Fiona Campbell and Mrs Lauren Pratley. Christy will be joining us from Marshands School, Fiona from Springston and and Lauren from Wigram Primary.

These appointments are in addition to Brooke Bigwood and Alice McGinty's appointments which were shared last term.

In addition, for 2025, Shireen Myers will be delivering Structured Literacy Support for our Phase One tamariki (for children identified as at risk of underachievement) so she will not have a class.

Kate Norman is also coming out of the classroom for 2025 and will deliver classroom release time and be released for her leadership roles.

The Leadership Team and staff have put much time and thought into the children's 2025 class placements. We have considered friendships, pastoral and learning needs. Thank you to the parents who shared information to help us place their child/ren. We have taken this into account where possible. On Tuesday, your child will come home with information about their 2025 class and teacher. A stationery list will also be included.
