Positive Behaviour For Learning (PB4L) Rewards

Kate Norman —

As you may have heard, we have made a few changes to our Positive Behaviour For Learning (PB4L) rewards this year.

The reason for this is that at Redwood, we run the programme on a two yearly cycle. This allows us to provide a reward for students when they reach a certain number of leaves for demonstrating the Reddie Learner Values of Respect, Responsibility and Relating Well.

To allow for the change over in rewards, all students in year 1, 3, and 5 will start the year with zero leaves. In years 2, 4 and 6, children will carry on their leaf tallies from last year so they will not receive the same rewards twice.

Rewards for 2019:

Year 0, 1 and 2

30, 60, 90 leaves = Band given at Team Assembly

120, 150 leaves = Certificate given at Whole School Assembly and name goes on the Reddie Learner Tree

180 leaves = Certificate given at Whole School Assembly, name goes on the Reddie Learner Tree and students receive a special badge

Year 3, 4

30, 60, 90 leaves = Bag Tag given at Team Assembly

120, 150 leaves = Certificate given at Whole School Assembly and name goes on the Reddie Learner Tree

180 leaves = Certificate given at Whole School Assembly, name goes on the Reddie Learner Tree and students receive a special badge

Year 5, 6

We are looking forward to seeing lots of children receiving bands, bag tags, badges and certificates!
