Riccarton competed in the NZYPT regional competition held in Christchurch on the 11th March.

After coming in second last year, the Riccarton A team comprising of Samuel Gamble (13IT), Leo Shin (13HW) and Matthew Woermann (13KD) won convincingly this year and will now be competing in the nationals on the 25th March. 

The Riccarton B team of Kate Stedman (13SN), Charmaine Lam (12VA) and Apoorva Patelkhana (12CS) came in second, which was superb.

Unfortunately, the other team will not compete since the rules only allow one team per school in the nationals, but it puts our Year 12 students in a good position for next year.
