Riccarton High School is looking for a Food Technician to oversee our food requirements at the school – both for the food technology department and our administration block – and we are looking to see if any of our parents may be interested in the role.

The job will be  for 3-4 hours a day, 5 days a week during the terms only (not required in school holidays). The hours during the day can be flexible but it is likely they will be from late morning to mid-afternoon each day.

You would work alongside the staff in the technology department and with the administration team.

The person we are looking for will need to be able to work independently and manage their own time to co-ordinate all the different tasks; be organised and take the initiative in getting jobs done; and be professional and willing to pitch in and help the teams when needed.

Previous experience in this area is not necessary but references would need to be supplied for other work.
