NASDA Success!

Charles Grubb —

The National Academy of Singing and Dramatic is considered one of the country’s leading performing arts schools.

Three Riccarton High School students have had unprecedented success in the level 3 Drama class audition for NASDA (National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art) last term.

To be selected for NASDA, applicants need to demonstrate their ability in singing, acting and dance, their desire to perform and their potential for a successful career in the performing arts.

Ted Eason and Jenny Wang auditioned for the Bachelor of Performing Arts and Leah Williams auditioned for the Certificate. All three were successful! While Riccarton High School has always had a very good hit rate with auditionees getting into Degree courses in the performing arts, this is the first time we have had 3 students apply with a 100% success rate.

Congratulations Ted, Jenny and Leah, we are extremely proud of your achievement.
