Term Three in the Library

Sally Brown —

#readwhatyouwant “I don’t like reading” is a common conversation and misconception. Reading is not about finishing 500-page books. Reading is how we understand, filter, and learn more, whether that be on the page or on a screen.

There’s no judgement at the library. We are here to make sure you know the different options available to you and help give recommendations, so you don’t waste your valuable time. Life is too short to read a bad book.

The library has been busy making NCEA lists for you. These aren’t only great for NCEA, they are some of our all-time favourites:

There is lots happening in the Library with book displays and upcoming events.

Book Fest will be on in Week 9 with a heap of fun activities in the Library. Keep a watch out for info in the student notices, or on the library Instagram page rhs.library.nz

Robotics Club is super popular in the Library. It is on every Monday after school in LC3 and anyone is allowed to pop along and make some cool stuff.

Remember there are JPs at the library every Tuesday between 10am and 1pm. And for all you crafty people out there, we have our infamous Stash Swap coming up on Sunday 27 August 11am to 2pm.
