Progress and achievement reports

Shane Morrow —

At Riccarton High School reports are issued to all students at specific points in the year. These will be sent by email and printed copies will be sent where we have no email address for students’ parents and caregivers.

Parents and caregivers can keep track of students’ attendance and achievement anytime through the parent portal: http://sms.riccarton.school.nz/student/ The portal allows you to check that we have the correct contact details for students and caregivers. Please contact the school office if you need a reminder of your user name details and/or your password.

Reports 2016:

  • Interim reports – Friday 15th April. All students receive this report which covers personal qualities and behaviours and is the first round of our Step UP Points system
  • Report evenings – Thursday 5th May 3:30 to 6:30 or Tuesday 10th May 5:30 to 8:30. The next newsletter will detail how to book appointments with teachers on these nights. Parents can choose the evening which suits them best.

Parents are welcome to contact Whanau teachers or Deans at any time during the year if they have concerns about their young person’s learning or pastoral care needs.
