The Jazz Band competed in the annual Jazz Quest Competition on August 6th. They were delighted to be awarded a 'Gold' certificate for their performance which included a variety of standards of latin, swing and ballad styles. Tim Bridgman's lovely alto saxophone solo In Angel Eyes was particularly impressive. You will hear more from the Jazz Band at the Music Soiree on Sept 22nd.
