A warm welcome to our new Te Reo Kaiako

RHS —

We are looking forward to the pōwhiri for our new Te Reo Kaiako, Matua Ramon Roberts, on Tuesday 21 July.

Matua Ramon joins us from Te Kura Kaupapa Māori O Te Whānau Tahi where he has occupied a number of positions including Tumuaki, and has had a close association with Te Kura Turarua o Pūtaringamotu for over eight years as a parent.

We look forward to welcoming Ramon formally as a member of our staff and to him sharing his extensive experience and skills in both Te Reo and Te Ao Māori

Please note the following changes to the day:

  • School will close at 12:55pm and students will be dismissed for the rest of the day.
  • The library will be available for students that need a quiet space to work if it is not possible for them to continue working from home.

Kohanga Ako will operate the usual timetable and will finish classes at the usual time of 3:00pm.
