Joshua Daglish (11GN) has been selected to attend the Royal Astronomical Society of NZ (RASNZ) conference later in May. 

He is one of only ten students in New Zealand who have been selected. 

The theme this year is the outer solar system and Joshua will have an opportunity to attend workshops as diverse as “Finding lonely planets with the KMTNet microlensing survey” to “It’s life Jim…aliens as depicted in film and television”. 

Joshua will also present at the conference as part of the SWAPA scheme, (Students with a passion for Astronomy).
